In this section, API guides for Face product will be explained in details. Our face products consist of Face Recognition (FR) and Face Anti Spoofing (FAS) / Liveness.

Face Recognition (FR) is an artificial intelligence technology which is able to identify a person’s face in an image. Verihubs FR provided several endpoints, which are: “Enroll”, “Delete Enroll”, “Verify”, “Compare”, and “Search”. In addition, Verihubs also provides attribute, image quality and liveness checks during the FR process. This documentation will describe each of the endpoints in detail.

Face Anti Spoofing (FAS) / Liveness Detection is the ability of a system to detect if a face is real or fake. Liveness Detection refers to the use of the field of Computer Vision to identify the real presence of a real person, excluding photographs, screens, masks, video replays. Liveness Detection allows us to carry out processes like verification, identification, and authentication. Passive Liveness Detection detects an image directly without user interaction. In this, users are not asked to execute any additional motion activities during detection. The technology behind passive liveness detection uses algorithms to identify and evaluate aspects of an image that reveal its content such as skin, borders, texture, etc.
